Accounts Assistant

Location: Blackburn

Core Function

  • Maintain all the postings and ensure the accuracy of the business’ Transactions.

MAIN DUTIES

  • Check all financial transactions for accuracy
  • Input all the transactions(Client and Office) into company accounting system
  • Maintaining the accuracy of Client Account Transactions.
  • Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.
  • Reconciling Banks accounts including petty cash on timely basis.
    • Assisting Line Manager in preparing Monthly Management Accounts pack including P&L and Balance sheet reconciliation.
    • Maintaining petty cash
    • Make and track payments
    • Additional bookkeeping duties as designated by management

DEPARTMENTAL DUTIES

  • Maintain and promote the Company’s good name, products, services and reputation
  • Assist in hitting the Department’s overall targets and KPI set
  • To ensure that confidentiality is maintained at all times.
  • Positively contribute to a safe learning and work environment ensuring compliance with Health and Safety procedures.
  • Commitment to own continuous professional development.
  • Any other duties commensurate with the post.
