Administrative Assistant

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience + bonus

Reports To: Executive Assistant to the Group Chief Executive Officer

      

Overall Job Purpose

Due to continued business success and growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator to join our Group of Companies, at our new Head Quarters based in Blackburn. The Administrative role is an excellent opportunity to consolidate your existing administration experience, into a fast-paced and challenging Administrator position.

 

Scope of Job

Reporting to the Executive Assistant to the Group Chief Executive Officer, the Administrator will provide a comprehensive support service to the Executive Assistant, which will include a wide range of administrative/secretarial duties.

 

Please note that the salary on offer is wholly dependent on the skills and experience of the successful applicant. This position therefore has a truly negotiable salary, which will be discussed further as part of the recruitment process.

 

Main Duties

  • To provide comprehensive Administrative / Secretarial support to the Executive PA to the CEO;
  • Assist in the co-ordination of business meetings, to attend meetings, take minutes and provide administrative support in relation to any actions or matters arising as directed by the Executive PA to the CEO;
  • To provide administrative support on group Human Resource matters and the Health and Well Being Scheme;
  • To support in the administration of the group management system;
  • To create and update annual schedules, holiday planners and residence bookings;
  • To monitor that all Policies and Processes are adhered to within the Group businesses and audits are completed on behalf of the Executive PA to the CEO and all results / findings are reported to the Executive PA to the CEO.
  • Administer and support on the implementation of the Group policies, procedures, and processes and that they are adhered to and completed to the highest standards;
  • To ensure that confidentiality is maintained at all times.
  • Positively contribute to a safe work environment ensuring compliance with Health and Safety procedures.
  • To champion the Core Values of the Group at all times.
  • Commitment to own appropriate continuous professional development.
  • Any other duties commensurate with the post.

  • Ability to build effective working relationships at all levels and departments, up to and including the Executive Board.
