Negotiations

Once a bill or schedule has been submitted to the defendant, we will use our specialist case management software and vigorously chase for reasonable offers. This will happen on a weekly basis without fail. Negotiations will always be conducted by the fee earner who drafted the Bill, to ensure that they are firmly in command of all the relevant facts and are therefore best placed to maximise your costs recovery. 

All negotiations will be carried out in a tenacious manner until we have recovered every last penny available, even if the defendant is offering far more than we are instructed to accept. Our charges will be based on a percentage of the profit costs we recover for you and not on the amounts claimed. In effect, this encourages us to achieve the very highest settlements possible.
