Lance Mason Solicitors take part in Deaf Awareness Week

On Friday 23rd May, Lance Mason Solicitors took part in raising funds for Deaf Awareness Week, in collaboration with East Lancashire Deaf Society (ELDS). The members at Lance Mason raised in excess of £500 for ELDS  with hilarious events including charity leg /chest waxing, sign language spelling bee and our notoriously delicious bake sale.

Practice Manager Claire Pickering commented: “It was fantastic to see the entire firm involved in raising awareness and also raising money for the cause and I’m extremely proud of what we accomplished as a team. As ELDS state 'actions speak louder than words' and it was great to see so many Lance Mason staff members donating their hard earned cash and those who put themselves forwards (with a gentle nudge) to endure the pain of waxing, legs and chest! for such an important cause.”

Taking part in Deaf Awareness Week is just one of many Lance Mason initiatives which sees us actively involved on a humanitarian level.

“We’re going to be supporting a number of charities this year which are close to our hearts and I know that everyone at Lance Mason is already looking forward to the forthcoming events- other than those who lost their hair of course! Everyone is keen to raise as much awareness and money for worthy causes as they can.”
